The Zeppelin Group has updated its CSR reporting. Under the title "Grafen leave their footprint,” the Zeppelin Group has published a sustainability report for 2020.
As a foundation-owned company, sustainability is a matter of course for Zeppelin and is in line with the infinity principle and the company’s values. In addition, sustainability is a basic prerequisite for long-term safeguarding of economic success and expanding competitiveness. Zeppelin, thus, assumes social responsibility and makes a genuine contribution to effective climate and environmental protection.
With the second report on sustainability, which has now been published, Zeppelin provides detailed information on its sustainability strategy and developments since the last report published in 2020. The focus here is on the progress made in achieving goals, which were made in the action areas defined as essential. "I am very pleased with the progress made and the measures that have now been defined to secure the path to CO2 neutrality in 2030, as well as the further goals in CSR management,” said Christian Dummler, CFO and responsible Group Managing Director for the CSR department. In addition to defining the target for CO2 neutrality by 2030 and the further progress in CSR management, the current reporting focuses on the results of the CSR stakeholder survey.
The Zeppelin Group’s Sustainability Report, which is also the UN Global Compact Communication on Progress for 2020, can be downloaded on the company’s website in both German and English (please scroll down). Zeppelin reports once a year on its commitment to CSR as part of a report on sustainability; the reporting period corresponds to the calendar year.
