Vink Chemicals is further expanding its global distribution network by partnering with Tennants Distribution as an official distributor in the UK.
Tennants Distribution is an owner-managed European distributor that sells specially formulated chemicals for the polymer manufacturing and processing industries.
These include coatings, adhesives, plastics, textiles and building materials.
"We are very pleased that we are now able to include the biocides from Vink Chemicals in our portfolio," said Mark Robotham, Product Manager Engineering Polymers, Acrylic Resins & Chemicals at Tennants.
"We have over 30 years of experience in the fields of biocides, resins and additives and can offer our customers first-class technical support and service."
"The requirements in the two markets of the UK and Germany are steadily rising, also because of the increasingly stringent regulatory regulations," explains David Zilm, Sales Manager Biocides at Vink Chemicals.
"With Tennants as a partner, we are well prepared for these challenges and can offer biocidal products as well as best performance and optimum service for our customers in the UK."
Vink Chemicals of Germany develops and forms individual biocides in batch sizes of up to 20 tonnes per batch.
Some 16 specialists are responsible for the distribution, raw material acquisition, product development in the R&D laboratory and the production plants in Kakenstorf.
The production volume of 12,000 tonnes a year covers the complete range of well-known biocides for pot and film preservation of paints and varnishes, but also for water treatment, cooling lubricants, building chemicals, detergents, cleaning and disinfecting agents for the polymer industry.
Vink Chemicals is active in Europe, Africa and Asia.
