Venator celebrated the 125th anniversary of its Duisburg, Germany plant.
The company held an outdoor event and invited employees, local government representatives and neighbours of the facility to mark the special occasion.
The facility, which opened in 1892, produces a broad range of TiO2 pigments and functional additives for specialty applications.
Michael Vössing, Director of Venator’s Duisburg facility, said: "It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our anniversary with everyone who works at our facility, as well as the families of our associates, our neighbours and local representatives.
"We had a great attendance with over 1,000 people celebrating the day with us.”
Antje Gerber, Vice President of Venator’s Specialty Business, said: "I’m delighted to have been able to take part in this milestone event.
"The site has mastered some significant changes over the past 125 years – most recently with the completion of Venator’s IPO in August.
"I am really looking forward to the next chapter for our facility."
