With environmental factors and the development of more sustainable materials playing a key part in the decisions made by companies worldwide, Synthomer, a global producer of dispersions, will focus this important topic at its stand at the 2016 MECS from March 14-16 in Dubai (Stand C10).
Amongst the next generation binders on show will be water-based parquet coatings binder (Plextol W 1078), wood coatings binder (Plextol W 1080), polymers for waterproofing membranes (Lipaton SB 60B11) and the latest binders for thin-film fire protection coatings, which can help achieve fire protection times up to 120min (Emultex FR 797). These new grades facilitate the formulation of products, which are more environmentally friendly, low VOC, APEO-free and formaldehyde-free.
A paper presented by Dr Martin Conrads, Head of Application Technology, will focus on polymers for high performance low-emission and solvent-free paints (March 15, 1:30pm, business presentation area).
