The Asia Pacific Coatings Show 2023 has now closed its doors, completing a successful three days of business and networking in Thailand’s bustling capital city.
More than 200 companies and brands were able to interact with thousands of visitors at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre, including representatives from JBP Paint, AkzoNobel, Kansai Paint and Nippon Paint, amongst others.
Asia Pacific Coatings Show 2023
Visitors came from all over the world, including countries as far away as Brazil, Africa and Europe, as well as surrounding ASEAN countries and further afield in Asia, such as Sri Lanka, China and Korea.
With strong support from the Thai Paint Manufacturers’ Association (TPMA), the exhibition was an excellent symbol of the strength of Thailand’s paint and coatings industry. The busy halls and packed conference sessions perfectly represented the country’s thriving market.

Standing room only
The accompanying conference and business presentations were incredibly popular with many sessions being completely full. The conference on day one focused on topics such as environmental responsibility, market reports, chemical regulation updates and sustainable supply chains, while the business presentations on day two focused on the latest innovations and technologies in the coatings industry.
Speakers from companies such as Cardolite Corporation, Willy A Bachofen, Sauradip Chemical Industries, Hoffmann Mineral, ICAP SIRA Chemicals and Polymers and Shandong Landu all presented to a crowded room, with some sessions being so busy that it was standing room only.

Future events
The next Coatings Group event is the Middle East Coatings Show, held in Dubai in April 2024 and the next Asia Pacific Coatings Show will be held in Jakarta next September.
