The ChemQuest Group, a global consulting firm focused on tailored business strategy and optimisation, technology acceleration, market intelligence and M&A advisory services for the speciality materials industry, is pleased to announce that Sandrine Garnier, Ph.D., has joined the company as a Director.
With more than 20 years of experience, Garnier has managed growth-driven multi-national businesses and teams, including work in technical product development and positioning, sales management, market and pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives. She will draw on this broad expertise in support of ChemQuest’s Business Strategy & Transformation and M&A Advisory Services pillars.
Garnier began her career as a development chemist with Bostik. She rose to the level of technical business development manager with the company before moving to positions of increasing responsibility with OMNOVA (acquired by Synthomer in 2020) and Addmaster UK Ltd. She most recently served as Director of Corporate Development, Europe, for Moleaer Inc., a developer of industrial-scale nanobubble technology.
“ChemQuest is thrilled to have someone with Sandrine’s extensive experience working on our team. She is particularly accomplished in market research and assessment, skills that are essential as we assist our clients in identifying opportunities for profitable growth,” said Daniel Murad, ChemQuest CEO.
Garnier earned a doctorate in the field of thermosetting adhesives, a master’s degree in wood sciences, and two bachelor’s degrees (in chemistry and materials sciences) from the Henri Poincaré University (Nancy 1) in France. Based in the UK, she speaks English, French, Dutch, and German.
“It is a great honour to be joining the ChemQuest team of speciality chemicals and materials experts. I am excited to help strengthen and expand the group’s international presence in Europe and the UK by applying the skills I’ve learned over the past 20+ years working in technical, innovative, and challenging markets. I look forward to helping clients identify new markets and opportunities, strategically and profitably grow, and develop their businesses,” Garnier said.
