On February 17, PT Citra Resin Industries (CRI) held the grand opening of its factory in the Modern Industrial Area Cikande, Serang, Indonesia.
CRI was established at the end of 2011 with the aim to provide better resin product performances that result in cost saving and better quality of coatings in the paint and coatings market. The company operates under PT Indo Lysaght as the holding company for the chemical division established in 1974, which is experienced in the paint and tyre industries among others.
CRI offers solvent-based resins and other industrial chemicals with a production capacity of 18,000t/yr. It manufactures alkyd, amino, acrylic and modified resins for use in decorative and marine coatings, automotive OEM/vehicle refinishes (protects from weathering, UV radiation, etc), light industry coating (enhance appearance and protection for wood, plastic, ink, roof tiles, etc ) and protective coatings.
The company inauguration was completed with the hitting of a gong by Mr Kris Wiluan, Chairman of CRI. Guests then toured the factory and laboratories.
CRI’s head office is strategically located in Sunter, North Jakarta, while the production factory is located at Cikande, Serang covering an area of one hectare. The company implemented an integrated manufacturing system from selective procurement for raw materials, combined with experts and highly skilled workers that, supported by state-of-the-art technology and laboratory equipment, ensures accurate and precise results and provides a high level of quality, stringent quality control and quality assurance. All of which, ensure the finished goods is the product that the customers can trust and rely on.
