At Chinacoat, the largest and most important trade fair for the coatings sector in the Asian region, BYK Additives & Instruments, a leading manufacturer of additives and measuring instruments for the coatings and printing inks industries, will be represented with an exhibition booth covering about 180m2.
Flagging up the motto ‘Obviously optimized’, the company will be presenting its wide range of additive products for optimizing coatings and printing inks from 18 to 20 November 2015 in Shanghai. This presentation will be focusing on four central themes:
Conserving resources
Achieving cost savings
Enhancing product quality
Sustainably optimizing processes
Booth C05-14 in Hall E4 will be concentrating on products like the high-molecular-weight wetting and dispersing additive DISPERBYK-2055, ideal for an especially wide range of applications, and BYK-1640, an easy-to-use polymer defoamer free of mineral oil, emissions, odors, and silicone.
Both BYK additives not only exhibit outstanding product properties, but also offer an excellent price-performance ratio.
BYK will also be represented by Dr. Michael Bessel, Head of laboratory wetting & dispersing additives, who will be hosting a presentation on new functional additives with branched structures at the Chinacoat Conference taking place in the run-up to the trade fair on November 16 and 17, 2015. It concerns the development of a highly effective surface additive that increases enormously the recoatability of a coating layer on the basis of branched polymer structures.
