PPG changes

Michael H McGarry, PPG Executive VP, has assumed leadership responsibility for the company’s architectural coatings – Americas and Asia Pacific, architectural coatings – Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and flat glass businesses. McGarry will also lead the EMEA region.

Jean-Marie Greindl, PPG VP, automotive OEM coatings, EMEA, has assumed additional responsibility for the EMEA region and has been named VP, automotive OEM coatings, EMEA, and President, PPG EMEA.
In addition, PPG has announced that Bryan N Iams, PPG VP Corporate Communications and Marketing, will assume responsibility for the company’s government and community affairs functions in addition to his current role.

Bayer business

Bayer has appointed Dr Markus Steilemann as the new head of its Polycarbonates business unit. He succeeds Michael Koenig, who joined the Board of Management of Bayer AG on April 1. At the same time, Steilemann became a member of the Executive Committee of Bayer MaterialScience.

Team addition

Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings has announced that Dr Randy Cameron has joined its management team.
He will act as lead consultant for its expanding OEM qualifications process and strategic development for its growing commercial, military and original equipment manufacturing business.

Michelman appoints

Michelman has appointed Mr Jan Denies as Global Product Manager – Digital Printing. He has been working for Michelman as a digital printing consultant since 2012. Based in Michelman’s Luxembourg offices, Mr Denies will focus on helping existing and prospective customers obtain the best printing results from their digital presses.
