PPG Industries’ aerospace business has qualified a new chromate-free wash primer coatings system to SAE International’s Aerospace Material Specification 3095 for airline exterior paint.
The PPG Aerospace system added to the AMS 3095 Qualified Products Listing has Desothane HS/CA 8800 buffable topcoat applied over chromate-free Desoprime CF/CA 7530 epoxy wash primer and chromate-free, high-solids Desoprime CF/CA 7065 polyurethane primer.
