Emerald Kalama appoints Neuheardt and Gravel
Emerald Kalama Chemical, a business group of Emerald Performance Materials, has appointed Scott Neuheardt, below left, Vice President and General Manager for the group’s line of K-FLEX low-VOC, non-phthalate plasticisers and coalescents. In this role, Neuheardt will be responsible for optimising and expanding business globally, identifying new opportunities for growth and leading teams that will focus on translating emerging market needs into a greater range of product offerings.The company has also promoted Shamsi Gravel, below right, to Vice President, global key accounts in order to develop, implement and lead Emerald Kalama Chemical’s key account programme across all businesses, including K-FLEX plasticisers, Kalama flavour and fragrance ingredients and Kalama benzoates and intermediates.
Huntsman Polyurethanes technology & innovation VP
The Polyurethanes division of Huntsman has appointed a new Global Vice President to head up its Technology & Innovation function. Pavneet Mumick took up his new role on August 22, replacing Keith Day who has retired after more than 35 years with the business.
Spilby promoted to Cornelius CEO
Cornelius Managing Director, Darren Spiby, has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in an organisational change to further support company growth. Darren will build on his success as Managing Director, a role that will cease to exist, in his new position as CEO. The new role has an increased remit, which Darren will fulfil whilst continuing to report to the previous holder of the position, Dr Neville Prior, who remains as chairman of the board.
