TÜV Rheinland, an international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organisation, has entered into a partnership agreement with Nippon Paint. This agreement involves extensive collaboration in green and sustainable development, focusing on coatings, composite frame, photovoltaic (PV) modules and other tests and international certification services.
Representatives from both parties attended the signing ceremony, including Robin Choi, Vice President, Group Technology Management of NIPSEA Group, Vincent Chen, Sales Director of NIPSEA Group Advanced Coatings, Seiichi Kumazaki, Manager of Technology Division, R&D Innovation of Nippon Paint Industrial Coatings and Tsutomu Seta, Project Leader of Technology Division, R&D Innovation of Nippon Paint Industrial Coatings. Also present was Weichun Li, Global Vice President of Power Electronics and General Manager of Solar & Commercial Products Greater China, TÜV Rheinland Group, and Vilmos Sztaroveczki, Vice President of Solar & Commercial Products, Asia pacific, TÜV Rheinland Group.
In recent years, spurred by World’s “Carbon Neutrality Initiative,” energy conservation and carbon reduction have taken center stage across various industries. Within the PV sector, high-performance glass fiber-reinforced composites have gained significant attention in the market due to their exceptional strength and light weight. Nippon Paint is pioneering innovations in this area with the introduction of NP Sparlite, a high-performance, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly composite coating solution specifically designed to address inherent coating challenges in fiber-reinforced composites. Through collaborative efforts with TÜV Rheinland and other partners, the company is committed to tackling the challenges associated with global sustainable development.
