The ChemQuest Group, a global consulting firm focused on tailored business strategy and optimisation, technology acceleration, market intelligence, and M&A advisory services for the specialty materials industry, has appointed Montaha Hidefi as Color Consultant.
In this role, Hidefi will draw on 25 years of speciality chemicals, coatings, pigments, and colour consulting experience to support clients in ChemQuest’s Business Strategy & Transformation and Technology Development pillars.
Hidefi’s comprehensive background includes expertise in international marketing, powder coatings, and colour analysis and forecasting with companies such as Rohm and Haas Co. (now Dow), Merck Group, and TIGER Drylac. She founded Color Landing Studio in 2018 and established the concept of Color Archeology™ in 2020. Color Archeology encompasses observation of societal trends, analysis of their current impact, and predictions for how the trends will evolve into the future.
“Montaha takes an analytical and investigative approach when developing colour forecast projections that are both client- and industry-centric. This approach, coupled with her strong background and understanding of the specialty chemicals and coatings industries, is perfectly suited to serving our clients in identifying trends and developing colour strategies to support growth,” said Daniel Murad, ChemQuest CEO.
Hidefi holds master’s degrees in international business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; business administration from the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec, Canada; and translation from the University of Damascus in Syria. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, and Italian.
“I’m thrilled to have joined the ChemQuest team, and I’m eager to support clients’ projects around the world by providing forward colour insights, analysing and modernising colour portfolios, establishing colour trends, and exploring other colour-related matters,” Hidefi said.
