Lomon Billions will reduce production of its sulfate TiO2 pigments at its Jiaozuo and Deyang sites this month.
The company will reduce production at its Jiaozuo site by 30% from 15th November 2017 to 15th March 2018, as the Chinese government’s autumn and winter 2017 air pollution controls take effect.
It will also implement a planned shutdown of its sulfate TiO2 pigment production site at Deyang for maintenance on 12th November for 15-25 days.
These actions are expected to temporarily reduce the company’s overall output of TiO2 by 35,000 to 39,000t, and may impact its product price.
They are unlikely to affect its annual operating target for 2017.
Production of BILLIONS TR52 pigment and the company’s chloride plant at Jiaozuo is unaffected.
