Huntsman Corporation has announced it is to open a new service centre in Warsaw, Poland, strengthening the capabilities of its polyurethanes and performance products businesses across Central and Eastern Europe, and the Baltics – territories where MDI demand is growing steadily.
Located in the commercial district of Warsaw, close to the airport, the service centre includes a sales office, an analytical laboratory and a meeting facility. A warehouse will also open on site in due course.
Poland has a fast growing economy, making it an extremely attractive place to do business and the logical location for a commercial gateway into Eastern Europe. In the polyurethanes industry, local demand for MDI is increasing at a rate of more than 10%/yr.
