Eastman Chemical Company announced that as of July 1, Reschem, Eastman’s official distributor for the coatings and ink industry in Italy will be the authorised distributor for Eastman Advantex and Vantex-T neutralising amines.
In addition to offering these amines, Reschem Italy distributes other Eastman products, which include well established products, such as Eastman Texanol ester alcohol, Eastman cellulose esters, ketone solvents, Eastman Optifilm enhancers, Eastman chlorinated polyolefins, and Eastman Solus performances additives.
"Both Advantex and Vantex-T are very synergistic with our product portfolio for the coatings and ink industry and will help our customers to formulate future proof paints,” said Marco Garegnani, GM/Director of Reschem Italy.
Advantex multifunctional neutralising amine enables a variety of benefits to architectural coatings, including superb pigment dispersion, excellent emulsion stability and outstanding syneresis control. Formulating paints with Advantex can also reduce overall paint raw material costs.
Vantex-T is a non-VOC additive under the Paints Directive 2004/42/EC and is an excellent multifunctional neutralising amine that enables formulators to create environmentally friendly, lower odour, low VOC paints and coatings. It has virtually no ammonia or amine-type odour. The lack of odour from Vantex-T is a benefit in formulating paints for interior use.
