DVM Pigments and Additives Ltd based in Chorley, UK is a manufacturer of environmentally friendly water-based colour pigment dispersions, which continues to grow at a rapid rate.
Success is probably due to the company supplying into a broad range of industries including synthetic rubber gloves, car polishes, children paints. DVM does business in countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Thailand and Mexico as well as the UK.
There always seems an industry/country, which is busy compensating for the quiet periods in others.
DVM has recently launched a range of high performance dispersions called Hydrotint HPX designed for masonry paints.
As well as the core pigment dispersions business DVM also makes a range of blended biocides and some specialised water-based paints.
Turnover has doubled in the past three years and DVM will soon be opening a second larger factory later in 2012.
