Attendees of the Asia Pacific Coatings Show (APCS) 2012 – scheduled for September 19 and 20 at Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia – can learn about Dow Corning’s effective silicone-based solutions for waterborne and solvent-based paints, inks and coatings.
Visitors to Booth M10 at APCS 2012 will learn about innovative Dow Corning brand additives and resins – and how these solutions can help create coatings formulations with differentiated performance, even on difficult substrates and in challenging formulations.
Through informative displays, attendees will discover that Dow Corning is an innovative partner with benefits for the entire coating value chain. They also will learn how silicone additives and resins from Dow Corning are aligned with their needs for sustainability and business growth.
"We will be showcasing some of our most recent coatings solutions, including Dow Corning 3 Additive, which prevents flooding and floating at low concentrations in white, gray and pastel coatings, and Dow Corning 100F Additive – a fluorosilicone additive for foam control in a variety of coatings. Dow Corning’s families of superwetter additives and slip and levelling additives that were launched last year also will be featured during the show,” said Joscelin Wong, ASEAN area coatings marketer for Dow Corning.
"We also plan to feature Dow Corning 3055 Resin, which is our new isocyanate- and HAPS-free, high-solids amino silicone resin,” she said. "Dow Corning 3055 Resin is our newest innovation for the coatings market and formulations based on epoxy resins crosslinked with this product show improved thermal stability, gloss and water resistance.”
During the show, Dow Corning 87 and 88 Additives, which offer improved water resistance in decorative coatings, also will be showcased.
In addition, Chris Wall, global coatings marketer for Dow Corning, will present ‘Formulating Next Generation Polysiloxane Coatings’ during the show’s technical conference. His talk is scheduled from 15:55 to 16:20 (3:55 to 4:20 p.m.) September 19.
