CPS Color presents automated tinting production and colorants at CHINACOAT 2013

At this year’s CHINACOAT in Shanghai, from November 20 – 22, CPS Color presents its efficient Tinting During Filling (TDF) system, a fully automated in-plant production line, in hall E4, booth 4G51-60. An exclusively built colourant house will palpably illustrate CPS Color’s upgraded portfolio of architectural and industrial colourants in final application. Two highlights of the colorant portfolio are the new Novapint™ D Solar Reflective colorant line and the new Temacolor™ EP industrial range, which is specifically designed for epoxy floor coatings.

China is the second largest market for paint products in the world and national paint producers need to answer international competition with cost- and time- efficient production processes. CPS Color’s Integrated Tinting Solutions fine tune equipment, colourants and control software to create a tinting result that is a perfect match between base paint, colourant and user purpose.

Tinting During Filling

The Tinting During Filling concept includes IN-CAN paint production, which produces base paint and colorants directly into the final packaging. Thus it does not only guarantee cleaner and safer operation, it also reduces production times, labour costs and material waste. Scaleable technology and flexible configuration create a suitable solution for individual production needs. TDF offers a number of different automatic dispenser options and combinations that are compatible with different can sizes and shapes. Neither flow rate nor number of circuits is limited.

A step towards automated tinting

CPS Color also presents the fully automatic turntable dispenser FIRST 1. It is suitable for use with water-based or universal colorants and eases the transition from manual to automated tinting. Thanks to its precise and repeatable on-demand tinting it increases accuracy and customer satisfaction in every tinting process. The innovative technology behind FIRST1 is the perfect choice for emerging markets.

Painted walls show colourant applications

At this year’s CHINACOAT, CPS Color presents its colourants in final application on the walls of a colourant house. Among others, it shows CPS Color’s Novapint™ D and Novapint™ E colourant ranges: The water-repellent and weather-proof colourants reliably tint exterior paint and protect façades and plasters.

Visitors can also witness the effect of the Novapint D solar reflective colourants. They have been specially developed to offer a wide choice of colours for water-based façade paints and plasters and minimise heat build-up in architectural and decorative paint applications. With its new Temacolor EP range, CPS Color has made it possible to dispense colourants for demanding thick-film epoxy floor coatings. The new range consists of 12 solvent-free colourants that form the basis for thousands of colour shades.
