Axalta Coating Systems, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, took part in the Architect@Work exhibition (A@W) at London’s Olympia on 21 and 22 January 2015.
Exhibiting for the first time, Axalta introduced specifiers to its Alesta AP Fine Texture collection of thermosetting powders.
"Our Fine Textured Collection offers architects outstanding looks as well as functional performance in a wide range of RAL colours,” says Stephen Owen, Axalta’s Regional Manager for Powder Coating Systems in the UK. "These smart coatings can hide imperfections, are highly-resistant to scratches and abrasion, and are less sensitive to contamination than smooth gloss finishes. They won’t show fingerprints, for example.”
Visitors to the stand during the show were able to visualise how the Alesta AP Fine Texture collection would look on a façade thanks to Axalta’s Colour It tool. This innovative tool allows users to select and to apply different colours to a virtual façade in a variety of textures and gloss levels and order up to five colour samples free of charge.
"A@W aims to present architects and interior designers with innovative products, so this was the ideal opportunity for us to meet specifiers and to discuss their needs, as well as introduce them to our advanced products,” Owen explains.
