AkzoNobel’s continued excellence in creating the best possible conditions for employees has the company again receiving accreditation by the Top Employers Institute in the key markets of Brazil, China and the UK.
AkzoNobel has now garnered Top Employer status consecutively for seven years in the UK, six years in China and three years in Brazil.
As the international authority in employee conditions, the Top Employers Institute carries out extensive analysis of companies and their efforts to create great places for their people to work.
"Our people are our most valuable asset – and at AkzoNobel, we believe that we all grow and succeed together," said Marten Booisma, Chief Human Resources Officer at AkzoNobel.
"I am very proud that the way we develop the talent of our employees has been recognised by the Top Employers Institute for another consecutive year."
Added Wendy Macdonald, AkzoNobel’s HR Director in the UK: "We’re delighted to achieve Top Employer status once again.
"We talk a lot about how important people are to reach our goals and this recognition shows we’re serious about personal development and offering a great working environment."
Companies that receive Top Employer certification pass a rigorous research process with high, internationally recognised standards – including such topics as working environment, company culture, benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
Results are then independently audited to ensure their veracity.
