AkzoNobel has published its integrated Report 2015 online. Also available as an iPad app, the digital version includes full details of the company’s annual results and sustainability performance.
Making extensive use of infographics, intuitive functionality and video, the highly interactive publication also focuses on AkzoNobel’s company purpose and the achievement of the 2015 strategic financial ambitions.
Video highlights include the CEO statement, a look at product innovations such as Dulux Easycare and updates on the company’s progress in terms of sustainability and the global Human Cities initiative.
"As I look back on 2015, I take great pride in the fact we continued to be successful doing what we do best – creating everyday essentials to make people’s lives more liveable and inspiring," said CEO Ton Büchner. "Although market conditions were challenging, we successfully achieved our 2015 financial targets and we now plan to build on the foundations we have created to achieve our vision of leading market positions delivering leading performance."
Opening with a dynamic ‘waterfall’ design, the digital Report 2015 utilises responsive design techniques and includes an interactive chart generator, comparison feature, animated charts and diagrams, as well as search-as-you type capabilities.
It follows on from the multi-award-winning Report 2014, which received several major accolades, including a Red Dot Award and a European Excellence Award.
