ACI Group is celebrating an award win after it scooped the major accolade for ‘Contribution to Wider Supply Chain Industry’ at the Institute of Supply Chain Management (IoSCM) Awards.
IoSCM is the first international institute to represent the interests of the wider supply chain. Its aim is to improve the industry by setting standards and promoting best practice through high-quality training and qualifications.
The award, which recognises the importance of continued contributions in support of businesses within the supply chain industry, was presented to ACI Group at the end of 2023 due to the company’s pioneering efforts to positively disrupt the chain through large-scale digital transformation, which will form a major part of its 2024 business strategy.
Karsten Smet, CEO of ACI Group, commented: “It’s a real honour to be recognised by the IoSCM for our contribution to the wider industry. With increasingly complex supply chains, there is now a real need for distributors to add value at every touch point.

“At ACI Group, we’re developing a next-generation solution to assist our customers and suppliers in navigating obstacles that are becoming much more commonplace. This includes highlighting the real cost of sustainability, such as the most effective routes to market, product choices and the potential impact of import/export regulations, to enable businesses to make informed decisions.
“Thank you to the IoSCM for recognising our efforts in the industry, and to the ACI team for making all this happen. Last year, we made significant in-roads in our journey to provide service, technology, and sustainability in the supply chain, so in 2024 we’re hoping to continue that trend!”
The company’s stalwart vision to improving the supply chain through digital technologies has also resulted in one previous award win for SME Business of the Year at the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Awards and several other award nominations last year. These included:
- CPHI Awards – Supply Chain Excellence in Pharma Finalist
- Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce – Best Use of Technology Finalist
- SME National Business Awards – ‘Sustainability’, ‘Family Business of the Year’, ‘Business of the Year: Less than 50 Employees’ Finalist
