Safic-Alcan, an international speciality chemicals distributor, has extended its existing distribution agreement with Dow for ethylene copolymers to the entire Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA), effective between January 1st 2019 and April 1st 2019.
Drawing on their successful partnership for France, Spain, Portugal and the Nordics, Dow and Safic-Alcan have decided to expand their distribution agreement for ethylene copolymers to include all the EMEA countries.
The agreement include such trademarks as ELVAX® , ELVALOY®, FUSABOND®, BYNEL®, NUCREL®, SURLYN®, ENTIRA® and APEEL®, which are used in a wide variety of applications ranging from injection moulding for plastics to everyday high quality products, such as adhesives and sealants, wire and cable, sole shoes, packaging, composites and others.
"We are very pleased with the extension of our partnership with Dow for ethylene copolymers to the whole EMEA region," said Philippe Combette, CEO of Safic-Alcan.
"Their leading brands of high performance ethylene copolymers will allow us to enhance our product portfolio with complementary innovative technologies and reach new markets in a wide variety of industries,” he concluded.
