Synthomer and Worlée-Chemie extend cooperation to China

Effective October 1, 2012 Worlée-Chemie GmbH has been appointed Synthomer’s exclusive distributor for polymers for industrial coatings in China.

Synthomer is one of the world’s leading producers of SBR Latices, Acrylic and Vinyl Acetate Dispersions, Liquid Polybutadiene and Polychloroprene Latex sold under the well known brandnames, Litex®, Lipaton®, Revacryl®, Emultex®, Rohagit® and Lithene®.

In order to broaden and develop its sales in China, Synthomer has decided to extend its relationship with Hamburg-based Worlée-Chemie, building on a number of years of successful collaboration between the two companies in Europe and India. Worlée will now become the exclusive distributor of Synthomer’s polymers in China for industrial coatings applications.

"Our technical sales team, based in our office and laboratory in Shanghai, will work in close partnership with Synthomer’s own local technical experts, also based in Shanghai, where Synthomer has just inaugurated a Technical Centre”.

For Synthomer this is a perfect combination to strengthen and broaden its presence rapidly in the vast Chinese market.
