Elcometer, leading manufacturer of high quality inspection and blasting equipment, has reached over half a million views on its YouTube channel.

Created in 2014, The Official Elcometer Channel, as it’s known on YouTube, has a full range of technical training videos to help Elcometer users learn how to use their equipment, understand how to work towards different International Standards and watch products being put to the test.

Currently the channel has 3200 dedicated subscribers and over 1.5M minutes of content watched in total, covering topics, such as dry film thickness inspection, adhesion testing, low voltage pinhole and high voltage porosity inspection, ultrasonic NDT testing and Elcometer’s new range of abrasive blast equipment.

Dan Carrington, Manager of the Official Elcometer Channel said: "We are delighted to reach this important milestone on our YouTube channel; it is incredible to think there are potentially half a million people around the world who have viewed our technical videos – it just goes to show how big the industry is and how seriously inspectors take their jobs.

"We firmly believe in training and support. Our technical videos allow Elcometer users to have expert advice at their fingertips – even when out on site.

"That’s why we will continue to upload new technical videos on a regular basis and although all videos are presented in English, in order to support Elcometer’s customers across the world we provide subtitles in up to 20 different languages.”
